Woven Health Clinic, formerly Metrocrest Community Clinic, is a 501c3 charitable clinic that provides primary health care services and is a medical home for people who live in Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Farmers Branch, Dallas and surrounding areas that cannot afford healthcare.
The Clinic was founded in 1992 and incorporated in 1993 as On Eagles Wings by two local churches, Webb Chapel United Methodist Church and Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, who saw an urgent need for healthcare for the underprivileged in the community. At the outset, the Clinic was open one night a week and some weekends with an all-volunteer medical staff. In 1995, Metrocrest Hospital Authority helped secure a rent-free location at Dallas Medical Center for the Clinic.
